Hi, I’m Fred, always been willing to discover the world, mostly unknown places, and capture them on my camera. And as I’m embracing the big adventure of the “Tour d’Afrique”, I’m happy to share it with you on this website.
Why the “Tour d’Afrique” ?
Having had the chance to travel to many African countries between 2008 and 2014 for professional reasons, I fell in love with this continent and always wanted to spend a longer period of time to visit as many places and countries as possible.
Being a bike enthusiast as well (MTB, Road or cyclocross, any bike makes me happy) I coincidentally discovered the “Tour d’Afrique” through a google search and since then was dreaming of joining this adventure!
This is why in the beginning of 2018 I decided to take a sabbatical leave of 5 months to realize my dream. And since then I have been preparing myself to cross my favorite continent on my favorite mean of transport…
…And now the Tourdefred can finally start !
